Questions about the Virtual Currency

1) Can I configure several sites with only one Rentabiliweb account ?

Yes, you can add and manage all your sites from the same account.

Your earnings are combined on one bill.

2) How does your system work ?

Our platform delivers a “ticket” composed of a single code regardless of the payment means chosen by the user.

The internet user has to listen and write down the code if he use the Phone Billing payment system.

He receives the code by SMS if he uses the PSMS micropayment and by email if he uses the other payment means.

3) How much does the Rentabiliweb service cost ?

Using Rentabiliweb is free.

No set up fees or monthly fees will be charged to you.

4) How can I modify my personal information ?

You can modify all your data from the Rentabiliweb administration site in Your account > Personal information.

5) Can I choose how long the Rentabiliweb codes will be valid for ?

Yes, you can configure how many times you want the code to be used and for how long.

The code validity is attributed when the code is generated.

6) Can I put several payment forms on the same page ?

Yes, you can.

Be careful not to weigh down the payment page so as to facilitate the transaction.

7) Are your statistics in real time ?

Statistics are in real time.

You have many sorting options, grouping options and filters to generate graphs.
You can export all the statistics to jpg, xml, csv or xls file.

8) What are the conditions to be paid ?

An invoice request is sent to you by email at the beginning of each month (1000 euros minimum earning required (VAT not included)). If you are an individual, your payment is sent to you automatically. If you are a professional, your payment is sent to you once we receive your invoice, which must only be sent at this email : finances-re@rentabiliweb.com.

Please note that for Belgium, the minimum earnings required to receive your payment by transfer is 200 euros.

If your earnings don’t reach the 1000 euros minimum, the earnings amount is defered and added up to the earnings of the current month or the earning of the following months (a consolidated payment will be made as soon as the 1000 euros minimum earnings are reached).

All the monthly invoice requests sent to you are available in your member’s area (in the Earnings overview section).

9) As an individual, how can I receive my earnings ?

The minimum of payment is €1000 and is paid monthly (if you do not reach this minimum, your earnings are added up). The payment is activated as soon as €1000 are reached and you will be paid the next month after the validation of your earnings. By default, you are paid by transfer.

Every month you receive a bulletin of royalty by email (all the sent documents are stored and available for consultation in the section “Earnings/Stats” / Earnings overview). The individuals are paid in the following days.

Belgian webmasters are automatically paid by transfer to their Belgian bank account without any fee, from 200 euros.

10) As a professional, how can I receive my earnings ?

The minimum of payment is €1000 and is paid monthly (if you do not reach this minimum, your earnings are added up). The payment is activated as soon as €1000 minimum earnings are reached and you will be paid the next month after the validation of your earnings. Payment is made by bank transfer.

11) I am an individual, am I being taxed on my income ?

You have to declare your Rentabiliweb earnings to tax authorities.

VAT is already paid by our company.

The amount paid out by Rentabiliweb does not include VAT.

12) I registered as individual. I have just started my company. What is the process to follow ?

Ask to change your status by contacting the sales service by using the contact form.

13) I own a business and a VAT number, can I perceive VAT ?

Yes. You receive a VAT inclusive payment if you own a French company liable for VAT.

14) Do you offer money transfers ?

Yes we do. This option allows you to send money from your account to another Rentabiliweb account. You can transfer money to anyone through the gains / Stats – funds transfers category. You just need to enter the ID number and email account beneficiary. This transfer appears as a deduction on your earnings page and credited to the beneficiary (funds transfer are only available if your earnings have been accumulating for over a month).

15) Why have I not been paid ?

Several reasons explain this situation :

  1. You have not reached the € 1000 minimum earnings or minimum payment that you have set
  2. You had put “NO” automatic payment at the end of the month
  3. You are a professional and you did not submit your bill to finances-re@rentabiliweb.com

16) Where can I find my detailed earnings ?

Log into your Rentabiliweb account, click on “earnings“, then select the period by using the drop down menu. Your results are available for export in CSV or XLS format.

17) How do I find my invoice request / bulletin of royalties?

All invoice requests and bulletins of royalties sent are available in “earnings overview” (click on display).

18) How long do I have to claim my earnings at last ?

You have one year to claim your earnings (N.B. : the minimum payment is 1000 euros).

19) I entered “no” automatic payment, how do I get paid ?

In this case, simply put “YES” in the drop down menu (personal data) and you will be paid at the beginning of the following month.

20) Why are my earnings at 0 ?

At the beginning of each month, your earnings are validated by an invoice request. If you have not received one it’s that you have not reached the minimum amount, but your earnings are not lost.

You will find them in “your earnings overview” and the earnings of the current month will be added to the others.

21) The scripts (form, protection) are valid but why does the protection page still reroute the internet user to the error page ?

This case can happen when the host php configuration is strict (for security reasons). In this case, you have to contact your host to get the directive allow_url_fopen positionned to “On” (this can be checked with phpinfo() if this function is not locked too …).

If the host does not want to grant your request, you can use the cURL method (please consult technical solutions if needed).

22) The scripts (form, protection) are valid but why does the protection page still reroute the internet user to another page (home page, …) ?

It is often the case when the authentication domain is not the same as the protected url.

23) Why are session data lost between the form and the protected webpage ?

Session parameters can be lost between the form and the protected webpage, which causes a problem if the payment happens in an authentified zone (member space, …). The reasons can be :

  • 1 session timeout too short : the internet user signs in and takes time to buy his ticket without moving off the webpage. When he tries to submit it, the session has expired, the Rentabiliweb redirection can not go to the protected webpage in an authentified zone. The internet user has also used his ticket, but he does not have his content.
  • A domain problem (the symptom is different, but the problem is the same, an incorrect redirection is observed in the protection script or in the form).

24) What is your Virtual Currency product ?

The Virtual Currency is a second form type where the member’s account is directly credited, without having an access code to enter.

25) Can the order of the payment means be changed ?

No, it can not because Rentabiliweb automatically selects the best payment types for the customer.

26) How can my customer choose the payment mean for his country ?

The Virtual Currency form geolocates your customer, the payment types are then automatically displayed without having to find his country.

The Virtual Currency form geolocates your customer, then it automatically chooses the right language of the form depending on the country of your customer.

28) How can we know the payment mean which has been used by the member ?

The callbacks report can give you this information. It also indicates, if you provide the member’s uid, all transaction details (date, credits, country, payment type).

29) Does the change in customer status (alliance, premium, etc.) affect the calculation of the credits ?

If your status increases, so do your outpayments. You configure your virtual currency on the basis of 1 euro earnings, it is also normal that the number of credits inscreases if your outpayments rise.

30) Where can I find my Virtual Currency earnings ?

You just have to go on the Earnings page, you will be able to see the detail of your Virtual Currency earnings for each payment type.

31) Can you explain what the callback url is, and what is it used for ?

This url is a web page located on your website (invisible for your players). It is very important because it must contain a script which will get the data that we will send you at the end of each successful transaction. This script will also update your member’s account.

32) How can I create the callback url, and what script must be contained inside ?

To create the callback url, you have to be able to upload a php file (or another server script type file) onto the server where your website is hosted. You then need a web editor (e.g. : notepad++) to create your script, and a ftp client software (like filezilla) to upload the php file when it is created.
